Where my story begins with two!

First off, I would like to introduce myself and introduce my family and when our two came into our lives! I want this to be a funny, educational, inspirational, and help for those who have twins. Maybe your twins are still little and you are savoring every little thing that they do. ENJOY IT! I have to say, my two are wonderful little ones, but they are just testing the waters right now and have their great cute moments and then they have those other moments... lol. So sit back and relax, and if you don't have twins, you still can enjoy the blog and my journey with twins!

SO, where to begin.... I am a mom of six. I had three boys and when we found out I was pregnant again, we were really hoping that we would have our fourth child and it would be our little girl. As time went on, week 23 come up and we went for an ultrasound. Before this everyone had been asking "Are you sure you don't have two in there?" To be honest we were not 100% sure that we were not having twins. We really didn't think that we would since there was already a set of twins in the family. We went to the ultrasound and the lady said, "well, get really ready!" My husband blurted out "Are there two in there?" And sure enough there were two little babies! We were shocked and when we started telling people they did NOT think we were being serious. I was just hoping for one of them to be a girl! Sure enough, baby A was a girl and baby B was a boy. Needed that boy in there! We went along and I got much bigger. The task of moving through life was getting harder at this point. I was not considered high risk, but I was higher than most with the blood condition I have and with a history of DVT. I was not worried, I knew God has these two precious little ones, and HE DID! I had a great pregnancy and the best birth. VERY FAST and easy! I was blessed. The first year and a half was great. I was able to feed the twins myself and they have been a great joy. Now, jump to NOW.
I love my twins, but I don't think that I was very prepared for two at the age two. One at the age two is TOTALLY different. I have seen it all now! Since they learned how to open the fridge, I have had two cartons of eggs smashed on the floor with syrup and ketchup mixed in. I have had chocolate syrup all over the carpets. I have little artists, but they don't really like the paper.... hmm... I wonder where they color.... lol. I have two who do not like clothes and like to wander naked. I have them unpacking their dressers and trying them on during nap time. There are other things, but you get the picture. It isn't like I am not watching them either. Usually they know when mommy is cleaning one mess, they are free to make another and that is just what happens. lol. So every day is an adventure here. I just want to let you know that it will get better, and I guess maybe to tell myself that too! lol. So sit back and enjoy my life with twins! Be blessed
